Data Saver Toggle
One-click desktop toggle that puts Windows into low-data mode for mobile hotspot use. Disables background services, blocks data-hungry apps via firewall, and restores everything with a second click.
A standalone Windows utility for when you’re on a mobile hotspot and don’t trust the built-in “metered connection” setting. One click disables all background data-hungry services and apps. A second click restores everything exactly as it was.
ON mode:
- Stops and disables Windows Update, Delivery Optimization, Telemetry
- Kills and firewall-blocks: OneDrive, Livedrive, Steam, Epic, EA, Spotify, Teams, Docker, Adobe Sync
- Disables Microsoft Store auto-updates
OFF mode:
- Restores all services to their exact previous state
- Removes firewall blocks
- Restarts only the apps that were running before
- Restores Store auto-update setting
